A transformed Jake goes to attack, however, Frankenstein proves to be too much for him to handle. Mari is startled to see Jake this defenceless.
So she steps into the fight herself and stops Frankenstein from gifting further injuries to Jake. Jake refuses help but realises that the scars are hindering his recovering ability.
This surprises Mari and leaves her to wonder about this stranger's identity. However, she decides to retreat leaving Frankenstein's questions unanswered.
After they leave, he discovers that his right sleeve is torn from Mari's attack.
